Committee members with relatives or dependants applying for a bursary are not required to abstain from voting unless the number of applicants exceeds the number of bursaries available.

Clarity, effort, and connection to future goals.
2. Financial Need (30 pts)
Extent to which the bursary will provide meaningful support.
3. Community Involvement / Work Ethic (20 pts)
Work, volunteering, or leadership.
4. Application Quality (10 pts)
Completeness, clarity, and effort.
Scores are averaged. Ties may be resolved through discussion or a secondary method.
